HLT52515 Diploma of Reflexology
Reflexology is a simple, safe and effective form of non-invasive holistic healing. It is based on the principle that all the organs, glands, muscles and parts of the body are represented with reflex points on the feet, hands and ear. It is believed that by stimulating those reflexes using specific techniques of the fingers, thumbs and knuckles, there will be a direct effect on the corresponding organ.
It is incredibly powerful, relaxing and very effective and can be safely applied to people of all ages from babies to the elderly. Reflexology is a stand-alone therapy in its own right, however it is also an excellent additional modality for other qualified health professionals to add to their skills.
The Diploma of Reflexology HLT52515 is Nationally Recognised Training as well as an industry recognised qualification in Australia. Graduates are competent and confident to treat clients in private practice, the corporate arena and aged care sector.
Units of competency are embedded in a variety of delivery formats, including direct hands-on training, supervised student clinics, workshops, unit handbooks, community events and open days.
Students develop the client-centred communication skills and professional practices needed to recommend lifestyle adjustments or refer to appropriate professionals, which effect long term changes in their clients’ health and wellbeing.
All elements of the training are grounded in the meaningful framework of clinical practices that enable graduates to conduct a sustainable, successful and rewarding practice.
